Great place to cut off from the world but not so disconnected. A nice little COOP store 2 miles down the road. Good facilities are available with glamping in mind, generous area, and a nice farmhouse at the back, that sparked a fruitful evening discussion with our children after seeing the animals.

Spent a weekend at Atlantic Horizons on a rambling / stargazing retreat. It was absolutely perfect. Alex Faye and family were amazing hosts. The facilities, activities, food and everything about the weekend I could not fault (and I can be quite critical at times) I stayed in my own van but saw some of the accommodations options and they were fabulous. I won’t hesitate to return when I can and would highly recommend the retreat weekends or simply booking a glamping or camping pitch. So well managed and organised such a wonderful family run set up.

Just returned from the rambling and star gazing retreat....amazing, a very well designed weekend, lovely walks, stargazing, pizza making, but overall my key takeaway was the warmth and hospitality of the family. We would recommend spending time at Atlantic horizons. On the retreat I succeeded in doing my first cold water swim...so pleased.

The rambling retreat with night time discovery was an amazing experience! The walks were varied in scenery and the night time discovery was interesting; will be using the tips in the future! Plus the food was delicious and eaten with great company!

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Sunset is breathtaking and soooo much to do near by. We went with 3 kids and 2 dogs and stayed in a yurt. Everyone had their own bed. Our yurt came with small private kitchenette, hot shower, dry toilet , firepit and seating. Pitches are large so that our crazy gang haven't interrupted anyone and we even flew kites ;). Hosts are kind, knowledgeable, helpful and make a very tasty pizzas! We will be going back!

AMAZING STAY! We did a last minute upgrade from regular camping to the Piran Glamping Tipi. It was so beautiful we wouldn’t resist! The owner then invited us to a fun family party in the barn for the coronation. Then gave us some amazing pizza! Great place to go with friends and the dog. Private Hot shower, kitchen and nice bathroom plus the tipi is beautiful. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Excellent glamping/camping. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming. The site is beautifully maintained and all of the facilities were lovely and clean. A great base to explore the north of Cornwall, with something to suit everyone. Thank you for a great stay!

I recently stead the most wonderful stay with my family here in a bell tent. The facilities were immaculately clean , eco friendly and included all the essentials. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The view and serenity were second to none.

A really beautiful setting and good size pitches. It's not very isolated (which we didn't like so much as road noise was audible, but it was well connected!). It's important to note it is a very basic set up. The showers presently are a large water container filled from a hot water tap 50m away, then a battery powered pump you can hold over yourself. The eco composting toilet is essentially a toilet seat over a ground level bucket. On hot days this isn't great and with kids is a bit of a challenge! It could have been emptied more frequently in my opinion. The toilet set up lacks any of the charm of many other 'back to basics' camping we've been to. We're still unsure if the amazing meadow is for the use of both glampers and campers, the campers seem to be kept very separate. If you know what your letting yourself in for, it's a lovely place with incredible views and glorious sunsets.

We stayed in the Millook Bell tent for 2 nights (2 of us plus the dog) and I cannot rate our stay highly enough. Pre arrival we had been sent details on what to expect during our stay, how we need to check in due to ongoing Covid restrictions and some nice insights into the surrounding area. Using this our tent was easy to find, presented immaculately with the added touch of sustainable toiletries to use during our stay. Over the past few months it would appear there has been a lot of work updating the site. Individual compost toilets (not as scary as they sound), shower cubicles, decked bases and outdoor kitchen spaces (complete with stove, kettle and cooking/eating utensils and marshmellows for toasting) have been built for each tent. Our first night we were able to have a BBQ on the fire pit provided (we had our own but wood is available - first bucket of wood was complimentary and more can be purchased via an honesty box on site), unfortunately for us the weather the next day had taken a turn for the worse, however being confined to the tent was not a problem as it was perfectly comfortable (blankets were also provided). We were greeted by members of the family that own Atlantic Horizons (all of which are really friendly), checked on during our stay and given a friendly goodbye as we left . How Atlantic Horizons was born and the ongoing vision for the site shows the effort and dedication being put in by the family to make each and every guests stay memorable! We will definitely be going back - hopefully next time minus the rain :)
